He pointed out that "the Corona virus caused a global economic paralysis, and had a negative impact on the world economies, airlines and commercial exchanges, as well as on oil prices," noting that "the Iraqi economy is rentier dependent on oil only, because the continued decline in oil prices may lead to an economic catastrophe in the country."
He stressed that "the current stage requires a strong prime minister and has an economic vision to be able to overcome crises," noting that "in 2014 there was a major financial crisis due to the collapse of oil prices, but the government at that time managed to overcome the crisis."
