, The Ministry of Oil announced, Monday, the increase in the volume of requests of Chinese companies wishing to buy local oil for the current month compared to the previous.
"The Chinese companies that buy Iraqi oils submitted their nominations for this month, and they were much better than its predecessors, as these companies started to recover from the economy," said Hamid Yunus al-Zobaie, the undersecretary for gas and liquidation affairs.
He added, "The Asian market buys up to seven percent of the exported Iraqi oil, and the remaining 30 percent goes to the European and American markets, and there is no contraction in the terms of the buyers and those 43."
