The political forces loyal to Iran, which are represented by the Al-Fateh coalition, the rule of law coalition, the National Contract Bloc, and the National Approach, have announced their refusal to assign [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/9081/%D8%B9%D8%AF%D9%86%D8%A7%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B2%D8%B1%D9%81%D9%8A][size=13]Adnan Al-Zarfi[/url] as the head of the next government by President Barham Saleh.
These forces accused President Barham Salih of violating the constitution in public by refusing to assign the candidate to the largest bloc, while warning against repercussions that threaten civil peace and the disintegration of the national fabric.
In a statement, Al-Fateh coalition headed by Hadi Al-Amiri said that the President of the Republic committed a constitutional violation by nominating Al-Zarfi as Prime Minister.
He added, he strongly rejects the unconstitutional step taken by the President of the Republic to assign a candidate outside the constitutional contexts, which stipulates the assignment of the candidate of the largest bloc, and the statement described the President of the Republic as committing a constitutional violation because of his lack of commitment to harmony between political forces.
Asaib Ahl al-Haq and other factions linked to Iran threatened to storm the presidential square if President Barham Saleh insisted on passing al-Zarfi with the support of some Shiite and Sunni forces and some Kurdish representatives.

Independent MP Basem Khazaal said that Al-Zrafi was not nominated by the Seven Committee, which had entered a dead end because of the rivalry of its members over the characteristics of the next prime minister.
Sources close to Hadi al-Amiri indicate that Shiite forces loyal to Iran have begun mobilization with the aim of blocking the passage of the Al-Zarfi government and maintaining the Adel Abdul-Mahdi government as a caretaker government.
The Peace Palace, which President Barham Salih is based in, has witnessed verbal quarrels and political debates between the leaders of the Shiite forces, on the one hand, and Barham Salih, and the President of the Iraqi Parliament, which supports the nomination of Zarfi.
People close to President Saleh say that he used his constitutional powers to assign a figure close to the demands of the demonstrators after the Shi’ite quartet failed to reach an agreement to choose a candidate to head the transitional government.

Salem said that the assignment of Deputy [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/9081/%D8%B9%D8%AF%D9%86%D8%A7%D9%86 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B2%D8%B1%D9%81%D9%8A]Adnan Al-Zrafi as[/url] prime minister was a betrayal of the blood of the martyrs, and Salem added that the blocks of wisdom, marching and victory, in addition to the President of the Republic, Barham Saleh, are behind the assignment of Al-Zorfi.
For his part, Burhan al-Maamouri, a member of Parliament from the Alliance Movement, affirmed that al-Zarfi’s mandate had become a must because we believe that the country is at a crossroads.
Al-Maamouri added that what we hope is that the taxpayer succeeds in choosing an efficient and professional ministerial cabinet whose primary goal is to restore the prestige of the state, meet the demands of the demonstrators, and pay attention to the service, educational, and health aspect.
Al-Maamouri also counted, “Among the tasks that the new government should undertake is to develop our external relations with all countries and parties and prevent interference in Iraqi affairs, taking into account its interests first, indicating that our support for the new prime minister depends on what he provides.
