    The Directorate of Combating Organized Crime of the Intelligence Agency in Basra announced, Friday, the continuation of internal and external commercial exchanges through the border outlets in the governorate, while indicating that it is a follow-up to the prices in the governorate, confirmed that it will prevent weak people from exploiting the current crisis.
    Brigadier Mushtaq Al-Tamimi, Director of Organized Crime in Basra, said to "Information", "There is a difficulty in the process of transporting food between governorates", pointing out that "Basra Governorate does not have storage for all kinds of food and vegetables except for tomato crops, while the rest of the vegetables come from Other provinces.
    Al-Tamimi indicated that “some increases in the southern governorates have increased their prices, which affected the increase in vegetable prices in Basra Governorate,” noting that “the Directorate is continuously following the prices of materials.”
    And that "some owners of vegetable highs in Basra have kept the prices despite losing them, taking into account the current circumstances that Iraq is going through in general and Basra in particular."
    Regarding the rise in the price of gasoline, Al-Tamimi stressed that “the Directorate of Combating Organized Crime has begun publishing its detachments on the stations, holding vendors accountable outside the stations and preventing the exploitation of the crisis by the weak of souls.” End / 25p
