A statement of his media office, which received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, stated that "Interior Minister Yassin Taher Al-Yasiri chaired the regular meeting of the crisis cell formed in the ministry to confront the Corona virus in the presence of ministry leaders and form managers."
The statement added, "The minister was briefed on the measures taken by the crisis cell formed in the Ministry of Interior to reduce the risk of corona virus outbreaks, listening to a detailed explanation on the implementation of the directions that His Excellency had issued at the previous meeting."
