    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} A member of the House of Representatives, Mansour Al-Baiji, called on the Minister of Commerce to provide a complete food basket to the Iraqi people, which will be distributed through the ration card agents as soon as possible in conjunction with the Corona crisis and the daily sustenance of the people in their homes.
    Al-Baiji said in a statement that he received {Al Furat News} a copy of it, that “there are large numbers of the Iraqi people who live on the livelihood of their day and do not have a monthly salary. Therefore, the Iraqi government must work in coordination with the Ministry of Trade to provide the food basket and deliver it to the citizen with the utmost speed and without delay. ".
    Al-Baiji said, "Providing the food basket and handing it over to the citizen does not need a significant time or effort, especially since the country is witnessing self-sufficiency in the national product that is available in the local markets. Therefore, coordination with the concerned authorities such as the Ministry of Trade and Agriculture and handing the food basket to the citizen should be done without delay and the government should move with this The trend is because most of the people suffer because they are unable to buy basic materials due to the embargo and the lack of work. "
    He added, "The provision of the food basket will contribute a lot to implementing the ban and the commitment of the citizen to sit in his house and not to go outside.
