Member of the Parliamentary Commission on Economy and Investment, Intisar Al-Mousawi, revealed on Monday the possibility of converting the ration card items into financial amounts, confirming that its committee discussed the matter previously with the Ministry of Trade because the ration card is a major challenge, especially after previous bitter experiences.
Moussawi said in a statement to the "information", that "the conversion of the ration card items into financial amounts at the present time is not appropriate," noting that "there are previous parliamentary signatures that were collected to demand the Presidency of Parliament to discuss the issue."
She pointed out that "the possibility of converting ration card items into financial amounts depends on the proportion of financial allocations."
Al-Musawi said that her committee "will discuss the matter in the coming days with the Ministry of Trade and the advanced cadres, either converting them into sums or improving the vocabulary of the card in quantity and quality." Ended / 25h
