The United States of America has vowed, Iran, to respond to any threat to its citizens, as happened in Iraq.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said: "We will respond to any threat that affects Americans as it did in Iraq."
Pompeo added, "Iran is investing with bombs and missiles at the expense of its people, and therefore it is their successors," noting that "Iran does not want peace in the region, and continues its threats to Saudi Arabia through the Houthis in Yemen."
