The US Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, has announced the acceptance of the resignation of the US Navy Secretary Thomas Moodley after his mismanagement of the crisis of the outbreak of the Corona virus on the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt.
"This morning I accepted the resignation of Minister (Mudley) and with the approval of President (Donald Trump) we will appoint the current Undersecretary of Defense Jim Macpherson as Acting Secretary of the Navy," Esber said in a tweet on Twitter.
This comes after scathing criticism by the Secretary of the Navy, Thomas Modley, for the aircraft carrier commander Theodore Roosevelt who wrote a strongly worded letter that was leaked to the public calling for tougher action to control the outbreak of the Corona virus on board.
