The local administration in Basra Governorate announced, on Thursday, the completion of a database of people covered by the emergency grant within the Social Solidarity Fund.
The assistant governor of Basra governor and head of the Social Solidarity Fund, Hassan al-Najjar, said in a statement to "Information", that "the province has reached the final stages, which is completing the database that exceeded 20 thousand targets in a grant of 50 thousand dinars for every citizen who does not receive a salary."
Al-Najjar pointed out that "the Social Solidarity Fund is for all the people of Basra, and it is non-governmental, but donations from many sides, and the numbers cover 410 million for each family 50 thousand, and therefore the number exceeds 8200 families."
And, "The main channel for identifying eligible families is direct contact and the other channel through the heads of administrative units and civil society organizations and through acquaintances," noting that "the required database is personalities for the target and will also provide the county in order to benefit from it in the future." 25 p
