    Arbil / Nina /--Head of Foreign Affairs Department in Kurdistan Regional Government Falah Mustafa, said the Kurdish regional president Massoud Barzani said during his last meeting with U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, "If the situation stay as it is in Iraq, then there is no need for the Kurds to participate in the next government.

    Mustafa added in a statement today: " Kerry and Barzani spoke clearly about the causes of what happened of Maliki’s failure to manage the country, especially the exclusion of Sunnis the major component of Iraqi people and the absence of real participation of Kurds and of the other components of the Iraqi people in the political process.

    The source added that "Barzani stressed if the situation remains as it is, then there is no need to participate in the next government," emphasizing the need to exclude Nuri al-Maliki as prime minister for a third term, because he is beyond the political crisis in Iraq. He said .
