Many employees can now receive their salaries via electronic payment systems[/rtl]

Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - Iraq continues to strengthen the electronic payment system for public sector employees, and seeks to include as much of its government departments as possible for this transformation in an attempt to end the administrative routine and prevent groupings within departments in light of the precautionary measures against the Corona epidemic.
And it is now possible for many employees to receive their salaries through electronic payment systems through offices contracted with the state and distributed in most governorates.
Today, the Rafidain Bank called on some government departments to expedite the activation of MasterCard cards and receive their employees' salaries for the month of April electronically, not manually.
This step is necessary in light of the preventive measures taken by Iraq to limit the spread of the Corona virus, which has killed 78 Iraqis so far.
The Rafidain Bank said in a statement that the directors of the accounts departments of some departments "must address the general management of the bank and instruct to complete all procedures related to activating the Master Card."
He added that this comes "in light of the conditions the country is currently experiencing as a result of the Corona virus and the need to leave manual cash and deal with the electronic system for salary payment."
