According to the report of the Financial Accounting Bureau in Iran for the year 2018, the fate of more than $ 4.82 billion of currencies designated for importing goods at the low government price is unknown to the Bureau.

The report indicated that $ 2.807 billion was allocated from this amount, whose fate was unknown, to import basic commodities, while $ 2.13 billion was to import unnecessary goods.

The judiciary entered the file, as the head of the judiciary, Ibrahim Raisi, ordered an investigation into the case and its follow-up in particular.
