The Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the House of Representatives said on Saturday that Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi would not be alone in naming the new ministers.
The bloc's deputy, Bashar Al-Kiki, affirmed that his party "expedites the formation of the government," stressing that "the Kurds will be a balance factor to enable the person charged to complete his government formation."
Al-Kiki added, "The Kurds will support the prime minister-designate not in the government formation, but in the government program," stressing "seeking to build common points of understanding and an acceptable agreement in the areas of security and energy, especially in the disputed areas."
Al-Kiki noted that "the prime minister-designate will not be alone in naming the ministers and will resort to consensus, which is a positive step to accelerate the formation of the government." Ended 29 / A 43
