    He added that the Ministry of Communications "is continuing with campaigns to combat smuggling of Internet capacities that affect the quality of service provided to citizens in Baghdad and all the country's provinces," noting that "follow-up of this file is done in coordination with the Media and Communications Authority and the security agencies within the relevant work team formed in this regard."

    He noted that "the international access gates project, which was suspended due to the current circumstances, would have completely eliminated the mentioned smuggling operations,"

    And on the negotiations on launching a national mobile phone company in Iraq, the Minister of Transport said, "The project is still under discussion with the Council of Ministers and the Media and Communications Authority, and consultations will begin on it after the formation of the new ministerial cabinet, as the establishment of a national telecommunications company requires official approval Between the Ministry and the Media and Communications Authority. "

    He explained that "The National Company for Mobile Services, is included in the government program and approved by Parliament that there is a national government company in cooperation with the private sector as the fourth competing company for the existing companies."

    Al-Rubaie indicated that his ministry "will soon prepare a study on the mechanism for unifying education platforms to be with a set of options within the platforms of higher education, especially that the specificity of higher education differs in relation to vocabulary from one university to another, with the presence of the educational platforms of Iraq, adopted by the Ministry of Education in accordance with curricula ".

    He emphasized that the ministry "provided about 25 percent of the unified capacities of free internet for citizens, especially with the spread of e-learning platforms that started work due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the country."
