The Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee on Monday suggested that the Nursing Syndicate Law be legislated at the beginning of the next legislative term for Parliament.
Member of the committee, Deputy Jawad al-Moussawi, said that "according to the directives of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, it will be a priority for parliament to work in the next chapter to legislate the Nursing Syndicate Law."
He added, "The law will guarantee the rights of all nurses and their families during the current crisis and throughout their work with Ministry of Health cadres," noting that "the law has passed in most of the discussion and legislative stages within the Health and Environment Committee and is ready for legislation."
He pointed out that "the recent emergency circumstances witnessed by the country prevented the law from being passed," stressing the determination of his committee to "complete the law and pass it at the beginning of the next legislative term." Ended 29 / A 43
