Al-Handal Group announced on Monday that it intends to launch soft loans for entrepreneurs in Iraq, amounting to 5 million dollars.
A statement, received by "Al-Iqtisad News", quoted the group's head, Wadih Al-Handal, as saying that the group "will launch soft loans for businessmen, amounting to $ 5 million, to let them complete their projects."
Al-Handal added, "These loans come within the initiative of (Al-Handal International Group for Entrepreneurs in Iraq), and they are interest-free loans to support entrepreneurship in the fields (commercial, technological, industrial, and craftsmanship)."
Al-Handal stressed, according to the statement, that "his group is in the process of launching further payments to finance youth projects in the coming period to encourage work in the private sector."
