    Information / Baghdad ..
Member of the House of Representatives Riyad Muhammad revealed, on Monday, the government's intention to borrow 10 to 15 billion dollars from the central bank in the event of continued low oil prices.
"The government intends to resort to the central bank to borrow $ 10 to 15 billion dollars in the event of a decrease in oil prices," Mohamed said in a statement to "The Information", noting that "the salaries of employees are insured, provided that the rest of the expenses are counted and some of them are canceled for a long period of time."
He added, "The salaries of employees are estimated at 42 billion, while the total revenue will be around 40 billion, in addition to securing health funds, the ration card and fuel, and thus the government will have to borrow from the central bank between 10 to 15 billion dollars."
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee Haneen Al-Qaddu had confirmed in a previous statement to "Information", that talking about deducting employee salaries or reducing them are just rumors, pointing out that the government's steps regarding salaries must be through legislation for a special purpose. Ended / 25h
