Forming committees to make the marketing season of wheat and barley crops successful

Baghdad _ the new morning:

The Higher Committee supervising the marketing of wheat and fodder crops held an exceptional meeting chaired by Dr. Mohamed Hashem Al-Ani, Minister of Trade, during which the marketing plan for the wheat crop was approved, while the committee called for facilitating the tasks of farmers and farmers.
A statement of the committee, conveyed by the official spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, said, "The Higher Committee supervising the marketing of wheat and wheat crops held an exceptional meeting headed by Minister Dr. Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani in the presence of the representative of the Prime Minister's Office, Eng. Ammar Al-Khairallah and the head of the agricultural societies Haider al-Abadi."
The statement added, "The Supreme Committee stressed during the meeting to facilitate the tasks of peasants and farmers by receiving the crop and lifting the suffering they face."
He continued, "The meeting resulted in several decisions approving the wheat marketing plan for 2020, and not agreeing to cancel the secret number in wheat crop marketing."
And between: "It was also decided to refer the subject of marketing defaults for rice for the year 2019 to the Trade Control Department to audit the lists for those covered and presented during the past week, in addition to issuing a decision mandating the subcommittee at the General Company for Grain Trade to prepare an answer to the book of the governor of Wasit on facilitating marketing mechanisms."
The statement added, "It was also agreed to authorize the General Company for Grain Trade to create marketing centers, according to developments and marketing conditions in each governorate."
The Minister of Trade, Dr. Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani announced yesterday the formation of main and sub-committees to make the marketing season for wheat crops that started on April 20, while he revealed the prices of the crop in the marketing season.
This came during a meeting of the Higher Marketing Committee, for the purpose of preparing and approving the marketing plan for the marketing season for the current year.
Minister Al-Ani said during the meeting, which was attended by the representative of the Prime Minister’s Office and the President of the Federation of Agricultural Associations in Iraq, Haider Al-Abadi and the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture that “an integrated plan has been adopted to market and receive the wheat crop commensurate with the quantities expected to be marketed by farmers and according to the plan approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and the amounts that It will be allocated by the Ministry of Finance under the federal budget for this year. ”
The minister added that “the General Company for Grain Trade, has completed all procedures and steps for the success of the marketing plan in accordance with the controls and instructions, and head committees have been formed in the General Company for Grain Marketing and other sub-governorates in the provinces to follow up and implement the marketing plan for the wheat crop”, indicating that “the farmer has the right to Marketing the proceeds to the state according to the approved price or not.
On wheat prices in the marketing season, Al-Ani explained that “local wheat prices were approved according to Cabinet Resolution No. 249 of 2016 or according to decisions issued later, as the price of the first grade wheat will be (560) thousand dinars, and the degree of wheat The second is at (480) thousand dinars, and wheat is the third grade, at (420) thousand dinars. He continued, “Specifications were adopted in the operations of receiving and marketing the wheat crop, according to what was mentioned in the two notes of the Quality Control Section numbered (571 and 572), including that wheat be free from animals, rodents, birds and their droppings, and any strange odors. On grains dyed in any proportion and do not contain chemical and biological contaminants and do not contain imported grains or germs. ”
Regarding the measures that were taken in light of the spread of the Corona epidemic, Minister Al-Ani referred to “adherence to health protection measures and guidelines for the crisis cell due to the spread of the Corona pandemic pandemic, preventing mixing with farmers and preventing them from entering together, and commitment to wear masks, paws, and dusting of workplaces.”

Baghdad - The New Morning:
The Parliamentary Finance Committee ruled out yesterday, Monday, the existence of an approach regarding reducing employee salaries, stressing that there was no directive from the government in this regard.
Committee member Ahmed Al-Saffar said in an interview reported by the Iraqi News Agency, "The Finance Committee has set standards aimed at achieving justice in the distribution of wealth, to reduce the difference between the higher salary and the lowest salary, in addition to reducing allocations."
He added that "these criteria will be handed over to the new government after the completion of the formation," noting that "there are proposals for the Finance Committee to begin studying them to find solutions to the current crisis," noting that "we have not received from the government any guidance on reducing salaries."

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Committee on Agriculture, Water and Parliament Marshes revealed, on Tuesday, the presence of a malicious external scheme with internal tools designed to keep Iraq as importer of strategic agricultural crops.
"The return of fires to wheat and barley farms in several areas of the country comes after the committee and the government announced the arrival of Iraq in particular for barley in particular, and they will start exporting soon," committee head Salam al-Shammari said in a press release.
Al-Shammari added that "the continuation of fires brings us back to what happened during the last period of criminal acts that affected fields and farms for wheat, barley and fish after the announcement of self-sufficiency."
The Chairman of the Committee called on the government and its security services to "expedite the detection of those involved and bring them to justice, especially since the country is in urgent need of additional revenues to finance the state budget in light of the continuing decline in oil prices."
He stressed the necessity that "local governments work with the owners of lands and farms to expedite the supply of their products to the government in order to start exporting, which will be a severe blow to the advocates of sabotage and crime against the people internally and externally."
