Nassif said in a statement received / information /, a copy of it, “We warn the government negotiating team headed by Thamer Al-Ghadhban of negligence or neglecting the people's rights of returning the amount of four billion dollars to the Trade and Development Bank that was confiscated by the region’s government, and handing over the sums of oil sales produced in The region, which was approved by the federal budget for the year 2019 and the years before and the period after, and the delivery of federal non-oil revenues represented by customs, taxes and ports.
Nassif stressed "the importance of returning the sums of the three months spent this year, as they were spent in violation of the Financial Management Law, and making a settlement regarding the amounts of damage amounting to $ 128 billion, and as proven in the investigation of the Integrity Commission. We also recall that this government is a daily caretaker government and has no right to take decisions The next government bears additional obligations and burdens. "
And called on the Iraqi negotiating team to "refuse to negotiate to give the region's share of the budget, which is in return for the region's delivery of revenues of 250 thousand barrels of oil per day, after the value of oil has become below zero, so how does the region get this percentage according to the price fixed in the budget 56 dollars? Note that the region was selling its oil by a difference of $ 15 from the price of a barrel, i.e. the cost of production, which means that the region's oil today has no value.
Nassif continued, “The sons of the Kurdish component are Iraqis and they should obtain their rights on an equal basis with the rest of the Iraqi people.
