, the Presidency of the Parliament confirmed, on Thursday, that in the event of the arrival of cabinet names and CVs, a voting session will be held for the government of designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
A member of the Presidency of the House of Representatives, Bashir Al-Haddad, stated that "Parliament has not decided to resume its sessions due to the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, and preventive measures to confront the virus," noting that "it is difficult for members of Parliament from the governorates to reach Baghdad because of the curfew measures."
Al-Haddad said, "Parliament, instead of holding sessions, formed the Parliament Crisis Cell chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan Al-Kaabi and the membership of a number of heads of specialized committees to follow up on the procedures to prevent Corona."
And on the session of giving confidence to the Al-Kazemi government, Haddad explained that "Parliament has not yet set a date for an extraordinary session to give confidence to the new government," noting that "
Haddad added that "once the names of the cabinet and the curricula vitae of the candidates and the government curriculum for the parliament are received, the presidency of the council will be obligated to set a date for the extraordinary session to vote on the new government." Ended 29 / A 43
