    All sales went for the purpose of enhancing balances abroad in the form of (transfers and credits) while there was no cash sale to banks.

    The Central Bank of Iraq announced the sale of more than $ 165 million at the end of the week on Thursday.
    The Central Bank of Iraq witnessed during its auction for the sale and purchase of foreign currencies today, a decrease in its sales to reach 165 million and 486 thousand and 216 dollars covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1190 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Wednesday, which sales amounted to 176 million and 526 thousand dollars.
    All sales went for the purpose of enhancing balances abroad in the form of (transfers and credits) while there was no cash sale to banks.
    None of the 29 banks at the currency auction made any offers to sell the dollar.
    For his part, politician Bahaa Al-Araji commented on the Central Bank's sales, indicating that the government has started to act with currency reserves.
    Al-Araji said in a tweet monitored by "Yassin Iraq", that "oil imports do not exceed $ 50 million per day after paying the costs of production, noting that the central bank sold through the currency auction and over 10 days up to 150 million per day, which means that our government started You act with currency reserves, so if the crisis lasts for six months then this means that we are facing a “unknown future” country!

    no cash sales....that means all of this is electronic... Iran only  smuggles hard currency so I don't think they getting any of this money.... Sales are significantly lower...
