    [size=18]On Thursday, the National Coalition criticized the concessions made by Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kazemi to the political blocs to pass his government, while he indicated that he was against the principle of quotas altogether.


    In a statement to Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper , the head of the coalition in the House of Representatives, [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/2679620544/%D9%83%D8%A7%D8%B8%D9%85 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B4%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A/ar/]Kazem Al-Shammari,[/url] said: "The National Alliance, in the person of its leader [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/133253/%D8%A5%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%B9%D9%84%D8%A7%D9%88%D9%8A/ar/]Iyad Allawi and[/url] its members, was among the first political forces to reject the quotas and confront them strongly, since the beginning of the political process after 2003 until today."






     
    He added that "the insistence of the political forces to revive the quota system in this way and the response of the Prime Minister-designate to it, we consider it a setback for the political process, and we prepare it as a repudiation of the covenants and promises that were made to the demonstrators, and a blow to the heart of what the religious authority called for to move away from the quota system and the formation of governments of technocrats and professionals ".
     
    He continued, "The coalition is against the principle of quotas in its entirety and detail," rejecting "the pressures exerted on the Prime Minister, and we do not accept that Al-Kazemi acquiesces to these pressures."    [/size]

    Al-Kazimi called for "responding to the demands of the demonstrators, and reviving the principle of citizenship, which is based on competence and integrity."
     
    The Al-Fateh coalition confirmed, yesterday, Wednesday, that it will not accept the government of personalities affiliated with parties and blocs.
