Baghdad: Sumer News, Saturday, the MP and former Minister Wael Abdul Latif considered the Kurdish delegation's demands for huge sums of money as previous debts from Baghdad are not true and aim at political blackmail. Abdul-Latif said in a press statement that "the Kurdistan Region put Iraq in a severe economic embarrassment because it exported 25% of Iraqi oil without including it in the budget of the Iraqi state." He added that "the talk of claims of sums of money by Erbil for Baghdad is ridiculous and its aim is political blackmail in order to relieve pressure on the region and the federal government relinquishes again to pay the salaries of employees." And Abdul Latif added, "The Kurdistan Regional Government will not pay crude oil money to the federal government, no matter what happens from the talks, especially with the formation of the new Al-Kazemi government."[/size]
