    The Economy News - Baghdad
    On Thursday, the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives requested detailed data on the numbers of employees in the Kurdistan region.
    The head of the committee, Haitham al-Jubouri, said in the official news agency "Waaa" and seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", "The Finance Committee asked the Kurdish delegation who visited Baghdad recently with detailed data on the numbers of employees and the audit report on oil revenues."
    He pointed out that "the Kurdish delegation pledged to send the data to the Finance Committee to ensure that there is no duplication of salaries as raised."
    The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, indicated during his meeting with the Kurdish delegation to the necessity of a full commitment to transparency in order to settle financial issues throughout Iraq and the Kurdistan region, by relying on the budget law that established a mechanism and framework for preserving rights and duties.
