The channel was conducting a direct dialogue, run by Haider Zuwair, with the patron of the constitutional monarchy, before the broadcast was interrupted without the knowledge of the guest and the interviewer alike.
Bin Al-Hussein said in a statement, "We had an interview program and usually it is a live broadcast, and we would continue the interview, then we entered a regular break, but the companions told me that they are receiving calls from the followers telling them that the broadcast was interrupted."
He added, "The staff and interlocutors shared my surprise, as they did not know that the broadcast was interrupted, which prompted us to complete the dialogue naturally, without our knowledge that we were out of the air."
Al-Sharif expressed his surprise by saying, "I was in the process of talking about my optimism about the new government, and the extent of its ability to find an international and regional balance."
He continued: I also talked about one of the most important reasons for Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi's refusal, as it was calculated as an Iranian option, after many conversations from various sources circulated about the role of Muhammad Kawtharani in Allawi’s assignment deal.
"I cannot direct accusation, but if someone feels resentment or fear to address the issue of Iranian interference or Kawtharani, then this is a known issue to everyone, and Kawtharani himself may not deny it, from the moment I commissioned Adel Abdul-Mahdi."
In his speech, Al-Sharif praised the treatment of the journalists and the channel’s cadres, adding that the reason for the severance was beyond their control and knowledge.
"I asked the interviewer about whether there is a possible relationship between the broadcasts and my talk about my optimism about the government or the regional role, but the interviewer excluded that, but he said that this case is happening for the first time."
He concluded, "We completed the recording of the episode, and I was told that it will be recorded in a recorded manner, but I am not sure about that."
The performance of the Iraqi media network raises more questions since Al-Kazemi assumed the presidency of the government, as the official channel and the network's news agency broadcast Thursday a false statement that she said was issued by Al-Kazemi, which contained several decisions described as serious.
The channel broadcast on its screen a series of urgent news from the fake statement, and the official agency published the statement, which was relied on by the most prominent news agencies in the country, to transmit the fake statement, before the media network apologized for what it described as "the error."
