Hours after giving it confidence, the new government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi received unprecedented external support. In addition to the widespread domestic welcome that the new government enjoyed, it was met with a broader regional and international latest.

The first Arab responses were to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whose king Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman sent telegrams of congratulations to Al-Kazemi that included his best wishes for success, while its foreign ministry expressed support for its country and its stand with Iraq and its willingness to work with the new government.

While the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, his deputy Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister Khalid bin Khalifa, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the new government's swearing in,

followed by Egypt, which expressed its welcome to announce the formation of the Al-Kazemi government, praising its willingness to make all efforts to support the government Iraqi to achieve its goals.

The last of which is the President of the Arab Parliament, Meshaal Al-Salami, who stressed the importance of strengthening Iraq’s official and popular relations with its Arab incubator and developing broader areas of cooperation with sisterly Arab countries.

As for the regional and international positions, the most prominent of them were Iran and through its Foreign Minister, Mohammed Javad Zarif, who announced his country's support for the formation of the new Iraqi government headed by Al-Kazemi, and its willingness to cooperate, which was reiterated by its ambassador in Baghdad, Erj Masjidi.

As for the United States of America, through its Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo, she indicated her support for the Al-Kazemi government, noting the extension of Iraq’s exemption from purchasing electricity from Iran for a period of 120 days, a deadline that Iraq needs strongly during the summer, while this initiative is considered by another to be the first crisis that was resolved in The first day of Al-Kazemi’s government.
