Parliament presidency sets a date for the resumption of regular sessions

The second deputy to the House of Representatives, Bashir Haddad, confirmed on Monday that Parliament will return to its regular sessions once things return to normal and the embargo has ended because of Corona, while referring to the intensive and constructive discussions that took place with the Prime Minister and the ministries of oil and finance in the previous government on outstanding problems with the region.
Haddad said in a statement reported by "Al-Sabah" newspaper and seen by him / the information, that "the parliament will return to its regular sessions once things return to normal and the embargo due to Corona has ended, and the airports and inter-governorate movement have been opened so that the provincial deputies can reach Baghdad", indicating that "The Prime Minister will present the candidates for the remaining ministerial portfolios before Eid Al-Fitr, and as soon as the candidates are presented, we will set a date for a session giving them confidence."
He added, “The tasks of the new government at this stage are to send the federal budget law, to launch the salaries of retirees, to improve the living conditions of low-income and workers and earners, to launch a social welfare network grant, as well as to control the security situation, restore the prestige of the state, the security forces and the police, and uncover those accused of killing protesters. And those accused of corruption files and bring them to justice.
As for the region; Haddad explained, “The intensive and constructive discussions took place with the Prime Minister and the ministries of oil and finance in the previous government, and the talks will resume with the new government with the approval of the previous understandings, and we hope that the delegation of the region will return to Baghdad soon to reach final agreements regarding all outstanding problems between the two parties within the framework of the constitution And applicable laws. ” Ended / 25
