Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi received a phone call from the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
Abu Al-Baghit conveyed his congratulations to Al-Kazemi on his assumption of the government presidency, affirming the support of the Arab League for Iraq and the new government in facing crises in the region and the world.
The Prime Minister thanked the Secretary-General of the Arab League, stressing the importance of coordinating Arab positions, overcoming internal Arab differences and strengthening the Arab project to serve the aspirations of Arab peoples.
