[size=18]The Ministry of Finance confirmed, on Sunday, that the government is proceeding with a program of automating customs and simplifying procedures.

"The government and the ministry are continuing to implement automation and simplify procedures in customs," the ministry said in a statement, which Alsumaria News received, noting that "these procedures are included in the white paper prepared by the government."

"The automation procedures and the selection of companies are carried out in a transparent manner," the ministry added, noting, "We will not issue any tender in this area without full transparency."
