On Sunday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi decided to form an investigative committee to deal with major corruption cases and exceptional crimes.

Al-Kazemi said in a speech on the occasion of Ashura, which was followed by Alsumaria News, that "the lessons of Imam Hussein should be taken advantage of," indicating that "the Iraqis have turned the lessons of history into a material of community production."

He referred to "ending the first phase of fact-finding that accompanied the violations against the October demonstrators," stressing, "starting to count the wounded and victims of the demonstrations to obtain their dues."

Al-Kazemi explained, "We will not hesitate to apply the law against aggressors on public and private property," stressing, "We will face attacks on the security services and medical staff with the strictest legal measures."

He continued, "We will not allow anyone or a party to drag us into non-state," explaining that "early elections are our firm commitment to the Iraqi people."

Al-Kazemi confirmed that he “decided to form a higher investigative committee to deal with major corruption cases and exceptional crimes,” indicating that “the fugitive weapons, crime gangs, assassinations and kidnappings are a dagger in the heart of the nation and in the heart of every Iraqi.”
