Yes Iraq: Baghdad
The talk about the general budget for the year 2020 returned after a meeting between the heads of the executive and the legislative authority the day before yesterday, Sunday, and their discussions with a number of representatives and advisers approved the budget for the current year.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, said today, Tuesday, that "Parliament is ready to discuss and approve the budget for the current year 2020, while confirming that the budget will see the light if it is sent from the Council of Ministers and will be legislated because it will be very brief."
In turn, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Majed Al-Waeli, criticized the "budget preparation mechanisms", indicating that they are still "with the same
typical vision , and all procedures are proceeding in a monotonous manner."

Regarding the availability of job grades, Al-Waeli indicated that "there are real grades close to the number announced by the Ministry of Planning of 240 thousand degrees," indicating that "these degrees can be available in the event that they complete the transactions of retired retirees and receive their rights."
A member of the Committee for the Follow-up of the Implementation of the Governmental Program and Strategic Planning, MP Muhammad Shi`a al-Sudani, says that “the number announced by the Ministry of Planning is that there are job grades up to 240,000; It is a real number resulting from the implementation of the retirement law and the movement of owners in all ministries.
Al-Sudani expressed his concern that “justice” is in the distribution of those job ranks, and control over this file by influential political forces, especially with the imminent holding of early elections, and the Sudanese MP called on the government to place job grades at the disposal of the Federal Service Council.
On the 2021 budget, Cougar said, "The 2021 budget will be operational. As for the investment, it will be ink on paper, because the government does not have sufficient funds for it."
Cougar asks: "Adding grades is possible, but does the government budget bear this matter? Here lies the question," and points out that the 2021 draft budget does not include a legal text that allows the government to borrow internally and externally, because "oil prices have begun to recover globally, as well as the government's control. On the revenue of a lot of outlets. ”
