On Saturday, the Al-Fateh Alliance considered Al-Kazemi's visit to the region the last opportunity to deliver the region’s oil imports to the center, indicating that otherwise it would prevent Kurdistan from passing its share in the 2021 budget.
The deputy for Al-Fateh Muhammad Karim told Al-Maouma that, "It was agreed during the visit of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to hand over the funds owed by the region from oil exports and outlets imports to the center in exchange for handing over its budget shares."
He added, "This agreement is the last opportunity to save himself and preserve the rights of its employees," noting that "in the event that the region refuses to hand over what it owes, it will not have any share in the 2021 budget, and all the money will be deducted."
