The Central Bank of Iraq announced, on Sunday, a 3 trillion initiative targeting non-employees for the purpose of buying an apartment or residential land.
The governor of the bank, Mustafa Ghaleb, said during the “The Tenth” program presented by colleague “Karim Hammadi” and followed by “People” (January 20, 2020), that “the bank has launched an initiative worth 3 trillion, which will be launched next week, targeting non-employees, who cannot bring in A sponsor such as the taxi driver and the father of the shop for the purpose of buying an apartment or residential land. ”
Ghalib added that “the initiative will be in the form of loans to be provided by citizens at an interest of 1%, amounting to 150 million, for the purpose of buying an apartment or residential land,” noting that “the guarantee instead of the guarantor is a piece of land or apartment.”

The governor talked about other projects, including “Memoranda of Understanding with the Ministry of Education to build 1,000 schools.”
