Former Oil Minister Ibrahim Bahr Al-Ulum confirmed, on Monday, that oil prices will continue at a good selling rate for the current year and will range to more than $ 60, indicating that this will push the government to invest the surplus to complete a supplementary budget.
Bahr Al-Ulum said in a statement to "the information", that "oil prices will continue to rise in an acceptable way and will not fall this year, but will maintain prices of more than $ 60," stressing that "oil prices will not exceed $ 70 due to several factors, including the decline in oil reserves American and the promise of vaccines against the Corona pandemic.
He added that "the survival of prices at this level will certainly push the government to exploit the cash surplus as a result of the rise to complete a supplementary budget and fill the deficit in the current budget."
Bahr Al-Ulum called on OPEC Plus countries to "maintain the current prices and not to drive high oil prices, as it will encourage competition with shale oil." End / AD 25
