/ Mawazine News / publishes the decisions of the Council of Ministers, which it issued during its session held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, today, Tuesday.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, "Al-Kazemi presides over a regular session of the Council of Ministers, during which the latest developments in the security situation and developments in the country were discussed, as well as discussing and discussing the topics included in his agenda."
The statement added, "Al-Kazemi presented at the beginning of the session his condolences to the Iraqi people and the Islamic nation, on the memory of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar, peace be upon him, indicating that it is a memory engraved in the conscience of the believers."
Al-Kazemi pointed out, "the miserable attempt by some to create discord among the Iraqis, when they threw a grenade at the visitors' path at the Imams Bridge, this bridge which carries a high symbolism of Iraqi brotherhood and coexistence."
In his turn, the Minister of Health and Environment reviewed "the latest developments in the work of the committee to strengthen government measures in the areas of prevention and control of health and awareness regarding limiting the spread of Corona virus, as well as the work of the ministry and other governmental efforts of the Ministry of Health in facing the pandemic."
After the Council of Ministers discussed the topics included in its agenda, it issued the following decisions, according to the statement:
First / Approval of allocating the Ministry of Finance (5000000000) dinars, only five billion dinars to the Baghdad Municipality from the emergency reserve, after the issuance of the Federal Budget Law of the Republic of Iraq for the year Finance / 2021. To expand Street (77), Street (80) / and (Baghdad-Kut) Al-Rustumiya Road, and return the cables to their correct path according to the technical specifications provided by the Ministry of Electricity.
Second: Approval of the minutes (19), and the recommendations of the Diwaniya Order Committee (45 of 2018), accompanying the linking of the Ministry of Planning letter of No. 1/2/157, dated 2/18/2021, regarding the completion of public hospital projects.
- Adding the General Director of the Accounting Department at the Ministry of Finance to the aforementioned committee.
Third / In appreciation of the tremendous efforts made by the cadres of the Ministry of Health from the White Army and the huge sacrifices they made during that period, the aforementioned were granted a letter of thanks and appreciation for their efforts in confronting the pandemic with a financial reward of (10) million dinars for the families of the martyrs of the White Army, disbursed by the Ministry Financial, and Acknowledgment Book.
Fourth / Supporting the club law proposal submitted to the House of Representatives for a vote, taking into account the opinion of the legal department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers regarding some aspects of the wording with specifying exemptions related to sports so that they are not used in a wrong way.
Fifth / Approval of the draft law on ratification of the Maritime Transport Agreement between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which was prepared by the State Council and referred to the House of Representatives, based on the provisions of Articles (61 / First and 80 / Second) of the Constitution.
Sixth / Approval of the renewal of the authorization granted to the Minister of Education pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. (183 of 2019) regarding the authority to deal with emergency matters that result from exceptional and abnormal circumstances, which have a direct negative impact on students ’attendance and exams exclusively, and all other matters that Relates to the educational process, which leads to finding effective solutions for a successful academic year.
