The office of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi said in a statement, that the latter "presided over a regular session of the Council of Ministers, during which they discussed developments in the country, as well as discussing the topics included in its agenda."

The Cabinet issued the following decisions:
First /
1 - Approval of the purchase of doses of the anti-corona virus vaccine from the US company Pfizer for the drug industry, according to what is indicated in the manufacturing and supply agreement between Pfizer Export B.V. and the Iraqi Ministry of Health and their amount according to the terms of the contract.
2- The commitment of the Government of the Republic of Iraq to ensure the obligations of the Ministry of Health, including compensation.
3- Authorizing the Minister of Finance to sign a letter of guarantee obligations of the Ministry of Health on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq.
Second: Approving the national plan to return the displaced to their liberated original areas.
Third / Approval of the proposal of the Ministry of Planning regarding international cooperation in the field of development as follows:
- The commitment of all ministries and agencies not associated with a ministry in coordination with the Ministry of Planning to set up a working mechanism issued by the Ministry of Planning regarding supervision and follow-up with international organizations and agencies, limiting the topic to the cooperative field of development only in the Department of International Cooperation, and providing it with all data and information on development projects, and the need for training in the specializations Technical and technical, and activating joint committees for international cooperation, to unify efforts and crystallize them towards achievement in a way that helps the government to implement its reform program, in coordination with the relevant government agencies concerned.
Fourthly/
1- Approval of increasing the capital of the North Oil Company (a public company), one of the Ministry of Oil formations, by an amount of one hundred and fifteen billion six hundred and eighty-seven million one hundred seventy-three thousand three hundred and forty-six dinars, certified by the Federal Office of Financial Supervision, based on Article (10) From the Public Companies Law (22 of 1997), as amended.
2 - The Ministry of Oil has taken the necessary measures to implement the aforementioned.
Fifth / Approval of assigning (Muhannad Hamid Muhammad Al-Obaidi) to the position of mayor of Al-Rummaneh District in Anbar Governorate.
Sixth / Due to the vote of the House of Representatives in its session No. (34) dated 11/1/2021 (rejection in principle) on the Second Amendment Law of the Political Prisoners Foundation Law No. (4 of 2006), according to the letter of the General Secretariat of the Council of Representatives / Parliamentary Circle No. With issue (9/1/458) and dated 1/18/2021, the Council of Ministers decided the following:
1- Canceling Cabinet Resolution No. (27 of 2020), with the exception of paragraph (4) thereof, regarding the affirmation of implementing Article (10) of the Unified Pension Law, regarding the cancellation of all legal texts that allow combining two or more salaries, with the exception of the aforementioned categories.
2- This decision shall be implemented starting from the date of its issuance.[/size]
