    The head of the Agriculture, Water and Marsh Committee in Parliament, Salam al-Shammari, confirmed, on Thursday, that most of the Kurdistan region’s ports are not subject to federal instructions, while he called on the relevant ministries and security agencies to prevent the entry of imported crops.


    Al-Shammari said in an interview reported by the Iraqi News Agency, that "the entry of agricultural crops through the border crossings unofficially harmed the agricultural sector and the local product in general, and there are several laws issued by the House of Representatives to protect the local product, but the relevant ministries did not comply, and there is a chaos in the borders and the entry of materials to hit Local agricultural product. "
