    South Korea confirmed today, Friday, its desire to participate in the reconstruction and construction operations in Iraq.


    The office of the President of the Supreme Council, Hammam Hammoudi, said in a statement that Alsumaria News obtained a copy of, that the latter "received in his office the South Korean ambassador, Jang Kyung Wook, who assured him that the land of Iraq is sacred, and whoever works to help him, God bless his work."







    Hammoudi discussed with the Korean ambassador "the bilateral relationship between Iraq and Korea, and how to find ways to support the economy and trade exchange between the two countries," stressing the need to "activate relations between the two countries, through the formation of parliamentary friendship associations and committees."

    For his part, the South Korean ambassador affirmed that his country wishes to participate in reconstruction and construction operations in Iraq, and greatly supports stability in this country, noting that "there is cooperation at the sports level, stressing that sports teams will soon arrive in Iraq to participate in many sporting events." .
