    The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed, today, Saturday, the latest developments related to the draft general budget for 2021, before the holding of the voting session.
    The committee's reporter, MP Ahmad Al-Saffar, said in a press statement, "The budget has witnessed lengthy discussions and it has been agreed to fix some contracts and there are changes in favor of young people as well as the presence of appointments for those with health professions."
    Al-Saffar pointed out that "the budget deficit amounted to 28 trillion dinars, and that it will be financed and covered from abundance, according to the prices currently in the oil market," indicating that "the budget did not include any new loans, but there is a reimbursement for the old ones."
    He added that "the political blocs and the region’s delegation have agreed to include Article 11 in the budget, and its content is that the rate of oil production in the region, according to estimates of the Federal Ministry of Oil, is 460 thousand barrels per day, and the costs of production, operation, transportation, domestic consumption and petrodollars will be deducted and the remainder that is not less than 250 thousand barrels as a value delivered at a price." Market to the Iraqi government, in addition to 50% of non-oil revenues.
