Al-Fateh coalition deputy, Wafa Hussein Al-Shammari, confirmed, on Saturday, the continuing differences with the Kurdish side over some paragraphs of the federal budget bill.
Al-Shammari said in a statement to / information / that “the region’s share, the exchange rate of the dollar, and consideration of blocking the ration card and allocating degrees to administrators are the most prominent points of contention in the 2021 budget,” indicating that “the region demands to include its allocations from 2004 until 2021.”
She added, "Some Shiite forces refuse to vote on the budget unless the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar is reduced," explaining that there is a "representative effort to amend the clause withholding the ration card items from those who earn a salary of one million Iraqi dinars."
A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, MP Mukhtar Al-Mousawi, ruled out, on Saturday, that the parliament session on the budget will be held until six in the afternoon. End / 25 h
