    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Shirwan Mirza, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Kurdistan region’s share is not the only obstacle to passing the draft federal budget law for 2021.

    Mirza said in a press statement, that "Kurdistan's share of the budget is not the only obstacle to legislating the law, but there are other articles," indicating that "the Shiite blocs have notes about the budget, and the Sunni blocs also have notes but they are not announced, and the Kurdish article in the budget is not the only problem that prevents approval." Law".
    He explained that "during the previous meetings between the parliamentary blocs, solutions were reached for all controversial articles in the draft budget law with the participation of the negotiating delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government, but we do not know what happened in the last hours and what led to the postponement of the voting session on next Saturday."
     MP Shirwan Mirza affirmed his "optimism that all the differences existing between the parliamentary blocs will be resolved and the budget will be passed in a session next Saturday."
