The source said in a press statement, "Al-Kazemi will visit Riyadh at the end of next week on an official visit."
He added, "Al-Kazemi will meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and he may also meet King Salman bin Abdulaziz."
The source pointed out that "the visit will discuss many files, especially those related to Saudi investments and threats to Saudi Arabia from Iraqi lands, as well as strengthening relations between Baghdad and Riyadh."
Yesterday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia held talks via video call, during which the former received an invitation to visit Riyadh at the earliest opportunity.
A joint statement said yesterday that the invitation "to meet the Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and to discuss all issues of common interest."
It is noteworthy that Al-Kazemi's visit to Saudi Arabia was postponed at an earlier time, after he was scheduled to visit it months ago.
