Trade forms control teams to monitor processing centers

On Saturday, the Ministry of Trade announced the formation of monitoring teams to follow up the processing centers in Baghdad and the provinces.
The Ministry’s media stated in a statement seen by Al-Iktissad News, that “the Ministry of Commercial and Financial Supervision Department has formed monitoring teams to be present in processing centers and stores throughout the day and its work is to monitor and check the flow of supply in Baghdad and the governorates.”
The Director of the Commercial and Financial Supervision Department, Muhammad Hanoun, indicated that, "in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, his department has mobilized its supervisory staff in all governorates to be present in processing centers and stores, as well as forming work teams to monitor the arrival of materials to agents according to the geographical division of employees," pointing out that "has been formed. Seven committees in Baghdad for all centers and supply stores, as well as for the rest of the provinces.
He added that "these committees will submit daily reports on their work procedures, diagnose defects or any lags that occur, and raise recommendations regarding that. The report will be submitted to the Minister of Trade for approval."
It is noteworthy that the preparation plan for the rationing items for Ramadan's unified and complete quota of rice, edible oil, sugar, flour and zero flour was launched on Friday in all governorates of the country.
