The Al-Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc revealed, on Sunday, the possibility of postponing the parliament session scheduled for today, because there are no real indications for approving the budget.
The representative of the bloc, Muhammad Karim Al-Baldawi, confirmed in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that "MPs are able to pass the budget paragraphs with a numerical majority, but the Presidency of Parliament is afraid of starting the session, without ending the problems related to it, for fear of passing it by the numerical majority."
Al-Baldawi pointed out that "differences are still going on with the region regarding Article 11 of the budget," indicating that it is likely not to be resolved now.
He pointed out that "it is easy to pass most of the paragraphs by voting, in the event that the Presidency of Parliament decides to hold a session this day."
Al-Baldawi stressed that "delaying the budget until now confuses the economic and political process, and that time is running out, especially with the passage of four months of the current year without a budget." Ended 29 / p4
