ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The Kurdistan 24 correspondent said that the Iraqi parliament has postponed the holding of the special session to vote on the draft fiscal budget for 2022, until seven o'clock in the evening, Sunday.
Shafan Jabbari said that the session was scheduled to take place at 3 pm today, Sunday, but the session was postponed to 7 pm today.
And the media department of the House of Representatives announced in a statement that "discussions of political blocs and forces with the government and its concerned ministries are continuing on the draft budget bill, and accordingly, the Presidency of the Council decided that the voting session on the law will be today, Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 7:00 pm.
Shafan Jabbari said that the three Iraqi presidencies are currently meeting with the negotiating delegation of the Kurdistan Region, heads of parliamentary blocs and the Finance Committee outside the House of Representatives building, in order to discuss finding solutions to the draft financial budget.
