{Politics: Al-Furat News} The head of the Iraqi coalition, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, described the early parliamentary elections as "fateful", ruling out the possibility that some party would overwhelm its results.
Al-Mukhtasar al-Mufid .. In important news, you can find it on the Al Furat News channel on the Telegram .. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Mr. Ammar al-Hakim said in an interview with the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram: “Early elections are fateful elections that will contribute to strengthening the position of the winning powers for the next decade or two. Our conviction is that the election results will not bring about a major change in the political reality. From the demonstrations, but no party can be overwhelmed, so we said we need a cross-component alliance to represent the formula for success. "
"The elections need electoral security, which means the security of the candidate and the voter, away from the power of weapons and political money. We also need international monitoring that is conditional on respecting Iraqi sovereignty, non-interference in the executive affairs, and active, informed and broad participation in the elections," he stressed.
And he added, "Iraq is accumulating the positives and trying to find solutions to the crises it is experiencing. The accumulations in the field of freedoms and democracy can be a pioneer in the region," stressing that "Iraq has not left its Arab identity and will not leave, and it is a founding and active member of the Arab League and through Iraq, in word and deed, its firm desire for a better building." Relationships and openness to its Arab and regional neighborhoods based on its national and mutual interests.
And between "Iraq is historically classified as one of the most prominent countries with great ethnic, religious and sectarian diversity, and our world today looks beyond the concept of equality and tolerance. The talk is about managing and investing diversity in the development and strengthening of society and strengthening the state by investing the strengths in each of its joints."
He noted that, "Since 2016, we launched the cross-component alliance project and renewed the call to form it on more than one occasion, and we continue to repeat and call for the formation of this transient alliance, which represents a validity for the inclusive national project, as it includes the various Iraqi components from north to south in its folds and expresses their needs and demands in coherent projects." And convergent, as it is shaped by an Iraqi decision, which is national in form and content. "
And Mr. Ammar al-Hakim added, "There are many variables, including the existence of a new generation born or brought up after 2003, which constitutes 70% of the total population and wants to have a say in the Iraqi reality, as well as the political forces that have contributed to the formation of the political system, some of them from the age and among them are those who live in their final stages." Some of them possess the elements of continuity, and that is why we proposed the new social contract.
He stressed that "state forces are those political forces that believe in the state, abide by its laws, support its approach, shelter under its shade, control its institutions and strengthen its power. And whoever does not believe in the state, does not support its approach, does not rely on its institutions and is strengthened by its weakness, then he is one of the powers of the state."
The head of the Iraqi coalition said, "Far and near experiences have proven that the weakness of Iraq causes the weakness of the whole region, and that this conviction is now firmly established among Iraq's neighbors, and that the conflict on the land of Iraq does not serve the interest of any of the litigants."
He pointed out that "the great wealth of Iraq is to be the arena where everyone meets and exchange interests and benefits, and then Iraq will be the biggest winner, and this matter is achieved by sitting the concerned parties at a constructive dialogue table to which we have always called" again "to call for the opening of a fraternal and Islamic dialogue, serious and frank. Between the Islamic Republic of Iran and all brotherly Arab countries, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a way that serves the security and interests of the region.
Mr. Ammar al-Hakim noted that "the dominant feature of the October movement is that it is a sincere, patriotic youth effort that was able to move stagnant waters and create change from within the political system, and we express our admiration for the political awareness that the movement created among the youth, and through it we were able to restore our youth who have become interacting with his regime." Political reform and development. "
He said: "The legislative people have achieved what the polling stations and votes could not achieve. They have achieved a change that would not have been possible without their sacrifices and the blood of their martyrs, despite all attempts by some to draw protests into clashes or political employment. We renew our call for them to prepare for early elections, and we have called for direct dialogue between the forces." Tishreen and its activities and among the political forces, because the presence of the two parties is an unavoidable fate, and we refused from the beginning violence in dealing with it, or described it with descriptions of employment and betrayal. "
He concluded his speech by saying that "the Pope's visit is an indication of the security and political recovery of Iraq and the return of the confidence of the international community in him. His Holiness’s meeting with His Eminence Al-Sistani, the supreme reference, was a validation of the message of tolerance and peace."
