The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced that the salaries of contracts and employees covered by Resolution 315 would be secured for a full year.
Committee member Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to the official agency, followed by Ultra Iraq, that "there are large numbers of those covered by Resolution 315 of contracts, daily employees and lecturers," noting that "900 billion dinars have been allocated to cover their expenses throughout 2021."
She added, "The allocations included in the 2021 budget have ensured that salaries are covered for a full year only, without there being an increase in salaries, especially since the minimum is 460 thousand for the contractor and 370 thousand for the wage earner, according to the certificate."
Al-Dulaimi explained, "There is a paragraph in the 2021 voted on budget that includes confirming contract holders who have a service of eight years or more."
