    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} Today, Sunday, the Border Ports Authority announced an increase in revenue rates that reached 80%, after implementing a series of administrative and security measures.

    The authority stated in a statement that Al-Furat News received a copy of it that "the percentage of completion in administrative and urban projects in the outlets has reached about 70%, and it is expected that the completion of these projects will contribute to doubling the outlets revenues."
    The statement added that "the procedures, according to the government performance report, indicated that the authority stopped about 90% of the violations, after strengthening the supervisory and supervisory role in controlling customs and tax procedures inside the ports, as the recorded violations amounted to 2777 violations during the second half of the year 2020 only."
    The statement indicated that "it is expected that the outlets will control all manipulation and evasion after the reform plan set for this purpose has been completed, as the authority has contributed to reducing waste and manipulating public money, and maximizing revenues."
    According to the statement, "the authority has begun to adopt the automation system, with the aim of facilitating the movement of goods and increasing revenues."

    The Council of Ministers had obligated the governorates in which the outlets were located to allocate 50% of the revenues. For the sake of developing the outlets and their approaches, reducing the wages of bridge scales to five thousand dinars, reviewing customs exemptions, forming investigative committees in investment contracts, establishing an electronic portal to audit transactions, activating protection of local products, and preventing the entry of materials covered by protection according to the agricultural calendar.
