He added, "I discussed with Al-Kazemi strengthening our fraternal relations and pushing them forward in various fields, and we exchanged views on Arab, regional and international developments ... The UAE is always alongside everything that achieves stability in Iraq and the interests of its people."
A member of the General Authority for the Wisdom Movement, Rahim Al-Aboudi, comments in a statement to (Al-Mada) on the visit, saying that it “comes within the framework of completing his Gulf tour that he started three days ago from Saudi Arabia, which aims to calm the region and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.” He adds that his visit "will focus on discussing the Iraqi mediation adopted by the Iraqi government to bridge the gap between Saudi Arabia and Iran, with the support of the United States of America."
